Edward Mak
B.App.Sc (Physio) (Hons Class I) – University of Sydney

Edward Mak Physiotherapist

Edward is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours Class I).

 

Edward relocated to Melbourne after graduation. Over the years, Edward has worked in a number of private clinics across Melbourne including Box Hill, Lilydale, Ormond, Forest Hill, and Mount Evelyn. He also has some experience in sports, disability sector, aged care and rehabilitation.

Edward is euthusiastic about providing home-based physio to clients who have disability or reduced physical function, so people at home can still access and benefit from physio. Edward will spend half of his time working in private clinics and the rest in the community. He has a strong focus on exercise therapy and functional training, and is also highly skilled in using manual techniques for effective pain management.

Outside of work, Edward enjoys badminton, tennis and hiking.

Natalie Vong
B.App.Sc (Physio)  –
University of Sydney

Natalie is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy).

She has over five years of experience working in both the aged care and disability sectors, delivering physiotherapy services across residential aged care facilities and home environments. Natalie is passionate about providing high-quality care tailored to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on promoting mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Natalie is known for her warm and empathetic approach, and is dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal goals through evidence-based exercise programs, functional training, and pain management techniques.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys yoga, exploring new cafes, and spending time with her family.

Vishalya Perera

Doctor of Physiotherapy - University of Melbourne

B.Biomedical Science/ B.Sc (Biotechnology) - RMIT University

Interests in: Musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, spinal and joints conditions, sports and work-related injuries, performance-related injuries, women's health and paediatrics, rehabilitation and exercise therapy

Background: Vishalya graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Vishalya has worked across multiple hospitals and private clinics during her studies and also volunteered with a few physiotherapy clinics in Melbourne. 

Vishalya has developed her skills in different areas of physiotherapy including:

 

  • Acute neurological physiotherapy and sub-acute rehabilitation at St Vincent's Hospital

  • Soft tissue work for spinal, sports and work-related injuries at Integrated Health Private Clinic 

  • Paediatric physiotherapy for children and teenagers

  • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation at St George's Hospital and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre

  • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Focal Physiotherapy
     

Vishalya is fluent in English and Sinhalese and she is dedicated to providing clients with safe and effective treatments.

Speech Pathologist

Olivia Lau

M.Sp.Path - University of Melbourne
CPSP, MSPA

Olivia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who is passionate about providing client-centred care to children and adults to ensure their concerns and priorities are met with compassion. Olivia completed her Masters of Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne.


Olivia is well equipped to support both children and adults with her comprehensive experience across a variety of environments including supporting her clients in hospital, clinic and community settings. She has also worked in the NDIS setting for many years helping her clients of differing backgrounds and needs achieve their goals. This includes providing support for swallow safety, language, AAC, speech, stuttering, literacy, and social skills.


Olivia loves building genuine connections with her clients and their families and believes therapy works best when it is meaningful and enjoyable. By incorporating each client’s interests into sessions, she creates engaging and motivating therapy tailored to the individual.


She has been trained in Key Word Sign, Lidcombe, Sounds Write, Hanen More Than Words, and SOS Approach to Feeding.


Consultations are available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
